A museum-quality example of pure titanium metal
In 2018, we introduced a solid tungsten cube - the densest engineering metal. Several months ago, we brought the least dense engineering metal: Magnesium. Now, we are back with the strongest metal: Titanium.

This is the 3rd in our planned series of KILO presentation cubes that come with a museum display base. It's the ultimate desktop display for the metal junkie!

We used a precision machining process to get a cube. A large black of titanium was carefully worked using a CNC. Each cube was ground by hand for a perfect brushed finish. This results in the most perfect finish you can imagine. Here is a video of the process:

Hi, I’m Rudy Marsh. As a child, I was fascinated with titanium. I remember reading about how the USA didn’t have enough titanium to make the SR-71 spy plane and had to secretly buy some on the open market. That lifted Titanium into the mythical, ultra-rare status for me.
I was what you might call a below-average student in high school, but I can remember one pivotal moment. It was one of those moments that you don’t realize were important until years later.
My physics teacher passed around an earring made from titanium for us each to briefly handle. It was my first experience actually holding this mythical metal. My brain had a hard time processing the thin, spiral design that was as strong as steel but felt as light as plastic. It didn’t feel real.
From that point on, I was in love with the sciences and ended up with a physics degree a few years later. Inspired by the birth of my son, I started Esington and trance metals to reconnect with my love for pure metal. This solid kilogram Titanium cube would have totally blown my mind as a child.
My hope is that this Kilogram cube of solid titanium will inspire you and those around you and just maybe end up being the spark that could change the course of a young person’s mind, just like it did mine.

In 2018, we launched the KILO Tungsten cube and raised $487,241. Later that year we raised $502,998 for our polished Copper sphere. We also made the most perfect solid Silicon sphere you can buy with a mirror finish. Trance metals have since sold thousands of solid metal cubes and spheres to people around the world and gained a reputation for being the highest quality solid metal products.
